Prepare to Show Your Home
Here are some general thoughts and guidelines for preparing your home to show:
You only have one chance to make a good first impression to potential buyers...
so make that memory a pleasant one for potential buyers...
Clean your home, have everything in its place.
Remember Curb Appeal is an important aspect of the sale of any home.
Now's the time to do those "little things" that you've been meaning to do.

Clear all counters and desktops.
Straighten up those closets.
Trim the lawn and shrubs.
Pick up any litter inside and outside your home.
Touch up chipped paint or cracked plaster.
Clean windows.
Clean and freshen bathrooms.
Open the drapes in the daytime.
Play background music during your home showing.
Contain your pets or advise agents of special instructions for your pets.
Light a candle prior to the showing, but remember to put it out before leaving home.
